In 2004, she won Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine as her first choice and graduated from the university in 2010 with a degree. After starting her residency in "Gynecology and Obstetrics" at Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital, which was her first choice by succeeding in the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS), she received the title of "Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist" in 2016.

In 2023, she started to work in the board of directors as a founding member of the Gynecological Cosmetology and Pelvic Reconstruction Association (JINKOZ), which was established under the umbrella of the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association (TJOD), the largest association in the field of gynecology in Turkey.

After starting her residency in “Gynecology and Obstetrics” at Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health Training and Research Hospital, which was her first choice by succeeding in the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS), she received the title of “Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist” in 2016.
Between 2016 and 2018, she completed her State Service Obligation by working as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist at Muş State Hospital.
During and after her specialty training, she received trainings mainly on women’s sexual health, sexual reluctance, anorgasmia (inability to orgasm), painful sexual intercourse (dyspareunia) and vaginismus and provided treatment for many couples.
During her compulsory service, she also responded to intense patient demands from neighboring provinces. In the meantime, she had the opportunity to perform many genital aesthetic and reconstructive operations. She has gained a lot of experience especially in labiaplasty (inner lip aesthetics), vaginoplasty (surgical vaginal tightening operation), genital regenerative treatments (PRP, mesotherapy, filling and stem cell applications).
In 2019, she moved to Istanbul to continue her professional career. In Istanbul for one year He worked at the private Acıbadem Health Group.
In 2020, Hera Klinik joined the Istanbul family. For 3 years, she worked intensively, especially focused on genital aesthetics and vaginismus treatments. During this time, he participated in training and course activities in many national and international meetings.

Dr. Çalıkoğlu works mainly on female sexual problems such as painful sexual intercourse, orgasm problems, sexual reluctance, especially vaginismus treatment.
On the other hand, labiaplasty, vaginal tightening (vaginoplasty), perineoplasty, genital fat transfer, vaginal laser, genital radiofrequency, genital regenerative treatments.
As an active member of Hera Vaginismus Treatment Association and ISAGSS (International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology), she has taken part as an educator in many national and international meetings.
